Terms and Conditions

Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds

An undelivered order may be cancelled within 3 days from the date of sale with a full refund. You may also cancel your sale, with a full refund if we are unable to deliver by the promised delivery date. A 25% restocking fee on merchandise as shown will be collected on all if cancelled after the 3 day cancellation period. A 50% restocking fee on all special order merchandise will be collected if cancelled after the 3 day cancellation period. No cash refunds are given, checks are issued by our corporate office within 14 days. Refunds on credit cards and financing are credited to the card used as payment.

If there is something wrong with your direct shipping order, please notify us as soon as possible. We might not be able to address any concerns after 30 days of receiving your order in the mail.

Clerical errors are subject to correction

There will be a $35.00 service charge on all returned checks

All credits and deposits are valid for 1 year


Delivery

Value City Furniture offers a full service delivery. We will set up your furniture in the desired room and remove all the packaging.

  • All balances due must be paid in full prior to scheduling your delivery
  • Cash or credit card will be accepted at the store prior to scheduling your delivery. Checks require 10 working days to clear. We are sorry but we cannot take credit cards via the phone
  • Deliveries will be made at an additional charge, delivery fees are not refundable. Specific delivery days are scheduled according to zip-code. We cannot guarantee time stops
  • We do not deliver pictures and accessories. We will deliver lamps in a factory carton (customer to assemble)
  • Please have your rooms ready and have all stairways and hallways clear. Take any pictures, mirrors and other objects off the walls. Our drivers are not permitted to move your existing furniture or electronics
  • Bedding removal: Value City Furniture will remove, at no charge, on a one to one basis, your replaced bedding at the same time your new bedding is delivered
  • If hoisting is necessary, customer agrees to pay additional charges
  • 48 hours notice is required for changing of delivery date

Pick-ups

The buyer is responsible for all assembly of merchandise after pick-up. The buyer accepts full responsibility for securing merchandise in or to their vehicle. Value City Furniture is not responsible for any damage to merchandise or vehicle during customer transportation


Service

We guarantee that the merchandise you purchase will be in showroom condition at the time of delivery, or we will replace or repair it at our option. We will service defective merchandise free of charge, for 1 year from the date of delivery. This guarantee is extended only to the original purchaser. This guarantee does not cover

  • Damage due to misuse, abuse, accidents, neglect or moving furniture from the original delivery address
  • Damage or discoloration caused by sunlight.
  • Normal wear, color fastness, pilling, soiling or shrinkage of fabrics
  • Clearance or floor sample as-is merchandise
  • Anything not covered by the factory warranty. Warranties are available for review prior to sale. All warranties are “limited warranties"

Important Notice

Wood is a natural product, therefore some variations in the grain and finish must be expected

Upholstery dye lots on fabrics and swatches may differ in shade from the products actually delivered by the manufacturer. Due to various mill standards beyond our control, we cannot guarantee wearing ability, color fastness or shrinkage of any fabric used on merchandise. Value City Furniture is not responsible for any cleaning, dye lot variances, or pilling of fabrics

Leather is a natural material and surface marks and variances in color show that the leather is genuine top grain grade. Value City Furniture cannot be responsible for these natural variances

Accessories inspect all pictures, lamps and accessories, before you take them with you. No warranty or service is provided on accessory items, they are sold “as is”


Service procedure

It is our sincere desire to ensure your satisfaction through our customer service department. All claims regarding visual damage on new furniture must be called in to our customer service dept. within 7 days of delivery or pick-up. Value City Furniture reserves the right to:

  • Inspect damaged merchandise in your home
  • Provide service in your home or our warehouse
  • Repair or replace at the discretion of our Customer Service Dept

Value City Furniture is operated locally by Crest Furniture Inc.

No agreement, guarantee, representation or warranty by an employee of Value City Furniture shall bind unless in writing.

Mattresses

All mattress sales are final. No returns are accepted on used mattresses.
