Delivery

All furniture is priced for pick-up. For an additional fee, we offer full service delivery. This includes:

  • Delivery by trained professionals
  • Assembly of furniture
  • Set-up of furniture
  • Removal of packing materials

We deliver to the entire state of New Jersey, and parts of New York and Pennsylvania. All sales must be paid in full prior to scheduling delivery.

We confirm all deliveries 3-5 days prior to delivery. Please make sure to return any calls left by Value City Furniture, in order to ensure that your delivery is made on the promised date. We will call you on the day of delivery with an estimated 4 hour window.

Pick-ups

We urge our customers to take advantage of our professional full service delivery. Most furniture is heavy and requires some assembly.

You may pick up your merchandise at our East Brunswick warehouse, but for insurance reasons we are only able to bring your furniture to the loading dock. You must bring your own rope/tie- downs and extra help to load your furniture. See your store for pick up hours. How long until I receive my furniture?

We normally can deliver within 3 days on in-stock merchandise. Special orders take 6 to 10 weeks, depending on the manufacturer.

Method of payment / Deposits

  • We require a 25% deposit on all merchandise, with the exception of special orders, which require a 50% deposit
  • We accept all major credit cards.
  • Checks need 10 business days to clear

Alternately, you can take advantage of our no interest, deferred finance program. A deposit equal to sales tax is required. (Special orders require a 50% deposit.) All sales must be paid in full prior to scheduling delivery.

Value City Furniture Warranty

We guarantee that the merchandise that you purchase will be in showroom condition at the time of delivery, or one of our service professionals will repair it or replace it, at our option. We will service manufacturer defects free of charge, for one year from date of delivery. This guarantee is extended only to the original purchaser.

We recommend that our customers purchase our no risk, five year worry free furniture warranty program coverage. There is no risk. In the event that you do not file a claim over the five years, you will receive a store credit for the cost of the warranty. See your salesperson for details.

Clearance and floor samples are sold as is. No warranty applies.

Refunds

We will refund your deposit if a cancellation is received within three days of the date of the sale. We will refund your deposit if we do not deliver on the promised delivery date. A store credit will be issued on orders cancelled after three days, with the exception of special orders.

There will be a 25% restocking fee on all special orders cancelled after the 3 day grace period, unless we can not deliver by the date promised on your sales slip.

Refunds will be made in the same manner in which the original payment was performed. Checks will be issued from the home office on all cash deposits. Checks are issued by our corporate office within 14 days. All credit card payments will be refunded to your credit card

Returns

You may turn down damaged merchandise on delivery. You will be entitled to a full refund or we will redeliver a new item, at no additional charge. Returned merchandise must be inspected and certified damaged by our warehouse prior to issuing a refund.

Customer Satisfaction Department

Our valued customers are the key to our success. If you have any issues regarding your delivered merchandise, please call us at (800) 257-2507, extension 52, and one of our customer satisfaction professionals will gladly assist you. All other issues should be directed to the store where your purchase was made.

Are prices negotiable?

Value City believes that every customer should receive the same level of service. Our prices reflect the lowest possible price for which an item can be sold. We will match any competitors advertised price within the state of New Jersey.

Does Value City Furniture offer design service?

Many of our sales associates are Certified Furniture Specialists, who have completed a design course given by the prestigious Interior Design Society of High Point, North Carolina.
